HAMS PICTURE RETAKE DAY INFO! Picture Retake Day is 10/17/2023! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required. If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook. Today student's in Mrs. MacDonald's class visited Kirby Foods to review several skills they have been working on over several classes. Students practiced skills like dollar up addition, adding and subtracting numbers with decimals, expiration date identification, department and item location, and gathering items needed for a visual recipe activity.

Today, HAMS teachers Mrs. Young, Ms. Kennedy, and Mrs. Lee took part in an engaging professional development opportunity in Momence, learning about building positive relationships and a strong educational environment. Leading the day were two nationally known educational experts, Brian Mendler and Gerry Brooks. These HAMS teachers are excited to bring what they've learned to school this fall.
