
Registration forms for the middle school volleyball summer camp are due this Friday, June 24th. Incoming 6th - 8th graders are eligible for the camp. The camp will be facilitated by All American Volleyball Camps and take place on July 6th and 7th from 3:30-5:30 at John Greer Elementary School. College volleyball players will be in attendance to assist with skill development. The fee has been reduced to $25 to give more students an opportunity to participate. Good morning. For this evening's HAMS Honors Night Ceremony, students and parents will enter and exit through the student doors, which are the far west doors on the front of the building. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this evening.

We will be hosting our HAMS Honor Student & Parent Breakfast on May 27 at the McFerren Park Civic Center. Students meeting requirements will receive formal invitations at school on Friday, May 20.

Due to unforeseen circumstances our HAMS Farewell Dance will now be Friday, May 20 from 6:30-9:00 pm for students who meet dance attendance requirements.

HAMS students earned a glow party today in PE classes for crushing their goal of raising $1500 for the American Heart Association. Students raised an amazing total of $4658. #CornjerkerPride

Mrs. Eighner's 8th grade ELA class earned lunch from Mr. B's today! At the beginning of each quarter, Mrs. Eighner challenges everyone in class to complete a book talk. If the entire class meet the challenge Mrs. Eighner treats them all to lunch. All students completed their book talk and made a presentation to their class about their book. #CornjerkerPride


Happy Pi Day! HAMS 8th graders enjoyed learning about pi today. Congratulations to Shay L. for winning the competition for most digits of pi memorized. She recited 28 digits! #HAMS

Hoopeston Area Families,
The final session of Building Your Village for the 2021-2022 school year will be held on March 3rd. During this session, we will focus on self-care.
We will be meeting at the Hoopeston Multi Agency for dinner and dessert provided by the 112. There will be raffles, giveaways, and representatives from local support agencies present. Child care and transportation are available for those attending. Doors open at 6:00 PM and dinner will be served shortly after that.
