English 3 students are participating in Book Clubs this quarter. They got to choose the book they were most interested in and they meet weekly with their book club groups during class to discuss their reading. #CornjerkerPride
Our MS and HS girls basketball teams were able to go to the U of I to experience a women's basketball game today. What a great trip and team-building time for players. Thank you coaches for organizing and taking our kids!

Thank you to all of the community members and veterans who attended today's Veterans' Day ceremony. Every year at the ceremony we share a video tribute to our local citizens who have served in the military. If you would like to see a member added, please contact the HS office with the name, branch, years served, and picture of the veteran so that we can get them added. Thank you for your help to ensure all veterans are recognized!

Join us as we honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces. On Monday, November 11th at 9 am, Hoopeston Area will be hosting its annual Community Veterans' Day celebration in the MS gym. This special assembly will feature speeches, music, and presentations that pay tribute to our veterans. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in appreciation of their sacrifices. We look forward to seeing you there as we honor our heroes!
