Good Afternoon Hoopeston Area Families,
On December 2nd, the Hoopeston Area Board of Education approved the second semester return to learn plan.

The return to learn plan is similar to the existing plan with a change being made at Hoopeston Area Middle School. The Middle School will transition to in-person attendance five (5) days per week beginning January 6, 2021. A decision will be made in mid-January for Hoopeston Area High School to move to five (5) days of in-person instruction per week.
Second semester will begin two days later than originally planned to provide training to staff. The first day of student attendance for second semester will be January 6, 2021. A summary calendar is attached.
