Hello! My name is Jana Fesser! I teach 7th grade US History and Cultural Geography.
I grew up in Nokomis, IL, where I was a member of back to back state champion basketball teams. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2003. I majored in Social Studies.

I started teaching in Hoopeston in 2005. I have taught US History, World History and Geography. I have also coached volleyball, track, and basketball.

I live in Bismarck with my husband Aaron, my daughter named Harper, and our dog Rocco.

Some of my favorite things include: baking, shopping, gardening and watching the Cardinals and the Illini.

Mr. Brian Hodge

Mr. Hodge, Hoopeston alum, graduated from DACC and Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Secondary Education.  He returned to Hoopeston to teach Social Science at the Middle School and High School level. Mr. Hodge has a passion teaching World War II.  He is an integral part to the extracurricular program.  Mr. Hodge enjoys playing golf and watching sports.  His goal is to figure out who shot John F Kennedy.
