Born:  A long time ago!  I married my beautiful wife Nancy on June 5, 1971.  We have two children.  Michelle who is married and lives in Bartlett, IL, and a son Cory who is married and lives in Kansas City, MO.  We have one grandson, Matt and two granddaughters Ava and Elyse.

I started teaching in Chrisman, IL in 1971, moved to Hoopeston in 1975 and taught for 6 more years.  I left teaching to join the family business which closed in April of 2002.  I returned to teaching in August of that year as the 7th grade science teacher for the Hoopeston Area school district.  I am currently teaching 8th grade science and an encore class known as Quest.  I also coach high school cross country and middle school track.
