Hello! My name is Lori Eells and I have been the Principal at Maple since 2004. I received my Bachelor and Administration Degrees from Eastern Illinois University, and my Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Illinois. I began my career teaching High School Business Education at Rankin High School, and from there have taught for the Vermilion Association for Special Education, Vermilion Occupational Technical Education Center, and Danville High School before coming to Hoopeston. I consider it a privilege and honor to be at Maple!
I grew up on a farm east of Alvin, Illinois. I had wonderful parents who taught me the importance of working hard and striving for what you believe in. After college I married and now live west of Rossville. We have three children, a daughter (and son-in-law) and two sons. We also have two granddaughters who are a delight!
Some of my favorite pastimes are spending time with my family, taking walks with our dogs, working outside and on the farm with our cattle and spending time at our pool.
