Miss Kori Balk

Miss Balk graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She has a minor in Geography and Environmental Resources. Previously, she has taught 5th and 6th grades at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Woodworth, Illinois. Miss Balk grew up in Buckley, Illinois and now currently resides in Cissna Park, Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors including traveling, hiking, fishing, camping, and working in her garden.
Jill Gooding

Mrs. Gooding graduated from Lincoln Christian University and Greenville College with her B.S. in Elementary Education. She has spent the past few years working with K-8 students in Milford. Mrs. Gooding lives in Milford with her husband, daughter, and dog.
Mrs. Harrier

Mrs. Harrier graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies, and Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Before coming to John Greer, she substitute taught throughout rural Vermilion and Champaign Counties. Mrs. Harrier grew up in Homer, Illinois, and now lives in Danville, Illinois with her husband and son. When she is not in the classroom, Mrs. Harrier enjoys spending time with her boys, reading, sewing, board games, and watching Supercross.
C. Overlander

Mrs. Cheryl Overlander

Mrs. Overlander graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Education Degree in the areas of Regular and Special Education.  She has taught for the Hoopeston Area School District since 1985.  Mrs. Overlander and her husband, Pat have 2 sons, Tony and Jordan, and a daughter Emily.  She grew up in Hoopeston and now resides in rural Hoopeston.

Mrs. Rachel Zick

Mrs. Zick earned her undergraduate degrees from Glen Oaks CC and Uof PX, and more recently, her master's in education, reading instruction from Olivet. Before coming to Hoopeston, she worked as a Response to Intervention math instructor in grades K-6 at Cissna Park. Originally from Southwest Michigan, Mrs. Zick now resides in Thawville with her husband, twin daughters, and their cairn terrier. In her free time, she enjoys reading, pontooning, furniture renovation, and running.
